It's been crazy but fun lately..

We had a little girl come over and stay the weekend with us recently.  Her name was Shyla and she's a Shiba Inu.  We thought she would be bigger than what she was, but she wasn't much bigger than us.  Btw, I'm still growing.  I'm 10 months old now and over 17 pounds.  : )..  Momma said she's gonna put a brick on my head to keep me from growin, but I will just shake it off!  Ha! 

Anyway, we have played and played and played in the time since I've been on here.  I fought with Shyla after a few hours of her bein here because I kept nipping at her face and she didn't like that.  I kind of do that to Emmy, but she knows that I'm just playin and doesn't fight with me.  Well, she doesn't too often unless I just make her mad.  We mostly fight over bones and knotty chew bones right now. 

I love playin fetch and I beat Emmy to the prize all the time.  I'm super fast!  Ok, so sometimes I pretend that I forget the prize so that she can carry it back to momma.  : )..  I really don't have ADD, although sometimes my momma wonders.  Lol.

Momma says she thinks I should get a modelin job.  Thinks I'm way cuter than any of the puppies on the Cairn Terrier calendar we have hangin in our house (I think she's right!).  What do ya'll think?  Think I could be a runway model?  Take a look at some of my best shots so far..

My 9 month bday.. : )..

I am 9 months old today!  I'm gettin sooo big.  I weighed in at 17 pounds last Saturday at PetSmart.  I have a really loud bark too.  : )..  Lol.  Don't ya wanna send me a 9 month bday present?  My momma says she will gladly accept donations.  She said we all need a vacation.  I've never had one of those before.  Alrighty, I'm callin it an early night.  Gonna go play with momma for a bit!  Catch ya laters!

Our new trick. : )..

Emmy and I are going through intermediate / advanced puppy training.  We have a lotta fun with Karen our Cairn Terrier trainer.  : )..  Check out our new trick she taught us...  We're so smart! 

We really like going to puppy school, although this was our fourth week of a six week class.  Now all we have to do is learn how to keep from losin our little puppy minds and we'll be set.  Gotta go for now, catch ya'll later!

Momma says I'm smart.. But..

She also says that Emmy and I are both starting to show some really bad traits. What's that? Pupperoni? Milkbones? She says we are becoming stubborn and copping a pack mentality here lately. I'm going through intermediate puppy training right now, but my trainer Karen (we love her! She gave me a gold star at puppy school this week!) is actually teaching me advanced puppy training things too! I'm doing great! Well, while I'm there, anyway. Outside of class Emmy and I aren't being good and sweet at all times. I know! Hard to believe! Right? Ohh, momma sees it though. She said it's getting pretty bad and that we need to stop. Us? The sweetest little angels? The best little... Yeah. That's stretching things a little. Alright, momma, a lot. By the way, what's a Dog Whisperer?

Happy 4th of July!

This is my first 4th of July!  I was a little scared after hearing some of the fireworks Friday and Saturday night.  I ran downstairs and jumped on the couch and hid behind daddy for a bit.  We went to a bbq at one of momma's co-workers yesterday.  There were sooo many people there, and we had sooo much fun!  Thanks Aunt Terri and Uncle Randy!  We protected their house from someone lurking out on their front porch (ok, yeah, so it was just Uncle Randy, but we were protecting the house anyway!), we protected their back porch from some little lost pomeranian that turned out to be one of the neighbors, and then we played around with a few other things that weren't ours.  We growled and barked and snarled like we had lost our minds, but, we had a great time!  We got home around 2am, and slept in until 10am.  Whew!  But we had sooo much fun!  Woof!
