Fun with Fergus.. And Emmy!

Whew!  It's been caaah-razy around here with all of us Scottish Hooligans running rampant.  Momma says that we are just way too cute to stay cross with us.  We run under her feet, and then stop!  How fun is that?  Way fun if you ask us!  Then we start fighting with each other.  Ha!  What fun!  We jump on momma and then run for cookies.  We looove us some cookies!  Cookies are pawsome!  Don't you love cookies?  We sure do!  Sometimes, sometimes we get chicken treats and sometimes we even get some pupperoni sticks.  Pupperoni sticks and chicken treats are pawsome!  We love those too.

Momma and Daddy have been giving each one of us our own outings lately.  They say we are just way too crazy when we go out together, so even though we still do that on occasion, we've also been given the chance to have a little one on one time with momma or daddy.  It's great!  Fergus got to go and order a hot rod part, although he tossed his cookies after succombing to too much motion during the truck ride.  That's not fun!  : p..  Blech!  Ick!  Emmy got to go with Daddy to pick the part up the next day.  She loved that!

I got to go out yesterday with momma.  We went to see our "Aunt Chelsea" and I got an oatmeal bath and a haircut!  Here's a picture of me before I went in...

I love my brother!

My little brother is pawsome!  He follows me around and I show him all the fun things there are to do in the house and out in our backyard.  There are cats inside and out!  I bark at them, and although Fergus is still scared of all the loud barking, I know that he's taking notes.  I growl and he growls!  I run and he runs!  I bark and..  Well, he doesn't bark outside yet.  Although when I run in the house, he runs behind me, barking at my heels!  He is great!  He's my little buddy!  Emmy says he bites too much!  I know that, but I'm trying to teach him not to bite.  He's getting better!  Well..  Sometimes.  I love my little brother.  He's sooo much fun!  Wanna see another picture of him??  Here he is during his first visit with Dr. Swoope, our great veterinarian!  (Dr. Swoope called Fergus, "Fat and happy!" Lol.  He said he's fat, he's only 5.1 pounds!  How can that be a fat puppy??  Dr. Swoope is silly!  Fergus said Dr. Swoope gave him some honey!  He gives me honey too!  Dr. Swoope is pawsome too!)

Ok..  Back to my little brother's picture!  Here he is!!  Isn't he a cutie?!  Not as cute as me, but he's a cutie!

Fergus.. Oooh, that's Fergus!

After discovering something alive and moving around in the crate in our car, I finally found out what Fergus was.  It has fur.  It's little.  It has teeth.  It barks.  It growls, especially when I bark and growl at it!  I didn't like it at first!  It got near my momma and daddy and sister!  How dare it!  What was it thinking?!  It slept in a pet carrier on my bed the first night and I didn't like that!  At all!  Momma wouldn't let me get too close to it at first!  

The second day, I played outside with my sister.  I played inside with my sister.  I watched this little furry thing run around in the house with my momma and daddy from outside the door.  I barked less.  I growled less.  I watched it run around and play from a safe distance.  Hmm.  I watched as it wanted out of the kennel after it was tired and stared at it in fascination while it finally settled down and fell asleep.  It slept in the kennel the second night and I got to have my bed back.  Maybe it wasn't soo bad after all.

The third day?  I was curious!  It has fur!  It barks when I bark!  It growls when I growl!  It..  It..  Wants to run and play!  Daddy finally let us play together.  I chased that little thing with fur, and it chased me back!  We ran and pounced and ran and pounced and had all kinds of fun together!  We had a blast!  It let me herd it around the house so that it was safe!  I'm great at that!  It stayed away from my toys and my food and my water, but I might share some eventually!  It might not be soo bad after all!  This..  Thing..  Might be fun!  I remember when I was little and came to this house.  My big sister did the same things for me!  Hey!  I get to do all those things for..  Fergus.  His name is Fergus.

I hear my momma tell him, "No biting Fergus!  The puppies won't want to play with you, if you bite them!"  She tells me that I'm such a good boy!  She tries to make sure that Fergus doesn't keep biting me, and told me if he gets too out of control, which he really doesn't, lol, that I can always jump up on the couch or the bed because he's too little to get up there!  Whew.  I can relax and take a break when I need to!  This morning?!  We had a blast running and chasing each other!  We crawled under the bed all the way to the other side, then ran around to the first side and did it again!  He's just as fast as I am!  I can run like lightning!  So can Fergus!   

It took me a little while, but I'm starting to really like Fergus!  He's cute!  He's funny!  He loves to play!  He loves to run!  He loves to growl!  He loves to bark!  I can show him everything there is to bark at in the backyard!  There are squirrels out there Fergus!  And birds!  And cats!  Oooh Fergus!  We are going to have sooo much fun running and barking and growling in the backyard!  And inside!  Upstairs and downstairs!  We are going to have soo much fun!  I like you Fergus!  I really, really do!  Whew.  Now.  If you will just stop biting me all the time.  Lol.  You are still little though.  I know that I did the same thing to Emmy and momma said Emmy did the same thing to momma and daddy.  It's what puppies do.  I will share my chew toys with you so that you will have something else to chew on!  Chewing is fun, when you chew the right things!

Fergus?

I don't know what that is yet, but momma said we are getting it.  Is it a plant?  Kinda like a fungus?  We have those that pop up in our backyard and momma picks them before we try and eat them.  Fergus.  I don't get it.  She keeps training me to leave Fergus, but I don't know what that could be?  Anybody else got any ideas?  Fergus.  Hmm.  Nuttin.  Fergus.  Fuuuurguess.  Fur..  Guess?  Fur.  Whut?  Furguess.  Fergus.  Does it have fur?  Lol.  I still don't get it yet.  Whatever it is, it's coming tomorrow!  Keep an eye out for my answer once I figure it out!  : )..  Wish us luck!  Lol.  Fergus.  Nope.  Still nuttin.

Merry Puppy Christmas!

Santa left me a frozen sock outside this mornin!  Yay!  And he might have left a little sumthin, sumthin for Emmy too, she was sitting over by the shed, eating something this mornin!  Yay!  Thanks, Santa!  Here's a video of me and Emmy playin with my frozen sock!  Merry Puppy Christmas, ya'll!  : )..

We had a little bit of snow the other morning!  I remember that stuff!  Brrr!  I put my foot in it and decided that was enough at first!  Oooh it was sooo cold!

 It wasn't much, but it was more than enough for now!

My momma and daddy thought I had another broken toenail, that would have been my fourth, but everything seems to be alright.  For now.  : )..  My foot is ok, so I'm not sure what was wrong with it.  My momma googled, "dog's toenails breaking" and found out she's not a bad puppy momma.  A lot of other dogs have the same issue.  She is going to try some Cod Liver or Tea Tree Oil on our food.  I'm rooting for the Tea Tree Oil.  I've heard Cod Liver tastes nasty!  Ick!

She also googled, "Stockholm Syndrome".  Lol.  I love my momma and daddy!  I love cuddlin with them!  I love jumping on them!  I love trying to lick them!  I just luv, luv, luv 'em.  Momma said it was because I never had a choice.  Lol.  They just bought me and brought me home.  Took me away from my family and made me love them.  I don't think so.  She's silly.  Ha!  Ha, momma!  I get toys to play with!  I get treats to eat!  I love puppy cookies!  I have a big back yard to play in!  I have a big sister to play with!  Check out this video of me and Em playin with an old milk jug!

I have a lotta fun here!  I've got squirrels, outside kitties and a lotta other puppies in the neighborhood to bark at!  I've got two older brother cats to chase!  I've got a warm bed to lay on.  I get a knotty bone to chew on at times!  I've got two people who think I'm just the cutest little puppy that has ever been.  Emmy and I have it made.  Everything else is just gravy.  Speakin of gravy, I'm gonna go get me sumthin to eat!  : )..  Catch ya later!

I'm still here, even though I'm not here often!

I have had two more broken toenails and visits to Dr. Swoope.  I am soo rambunctious and can't wait to run out in the yard to bark at kitties, squirrels and other puppies that live outside of our fence, and I can't make myself run down all the back deck's steps.  There are only five, and I usually make it down two before I leap!  Whoo!  Toenails schmoenails!  There are living things to bark at!  Time's a wastin!

We also have a great new groomer!  It's our "Aunt Chelsea"!  She's great!  She has two puppies herself, Soci, who might be part Saluki (?), and Raya, who is a Chinese Crested pup.  She has such long, long, long hair!  But she's a cutie!  I like Raya!  And Soci!  And "Aunt Chelsea"!  Check out our great new pics!!
